At the same time, the multi-sport athlete successfully took part in the IRONMAN 70.3 European and World Championships and also became 2x German champion and multiple German runner-up in stand-up paddling.
Here he also took part in international extreme events such as the 11-City Tour, 220km SUP through the Netherlands, as the most successful German participant.
The greatest international success was the vice world championship title in windsurfing in the raceboard class in 2009.
